Episode 58

Djibouti

A tiny nation in the Horn of Africa, Djibouti is located at the junction of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia making it a significant hub for international trade and military operations. It also sits at the junction of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, making it a crucial maritime route. Djibouti has maintained relative stability compared to some of its neighbors in a politically sensitive region. The peaceful coexistence of various ethnic and religious groups adds to its uniqueness.
